About Purple House Cancer Support
Our Cancer Support Centre is at the hub of Purple House, and is based at Aubrey Court, Parnell Road, Bray, Co. Wicklow & is open from 10am to 1pm Mon-Fri and by appointment from 1pm until 4pm. Purple House has disabled access. Our trained volunteers are on hand to offer a sympathetic listening ear in total confidentiality.
Monthly Cancer Support Clinics in Park House, Library Road, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin on the 1st Tuesday from 12 – 2pm.
A confidential telephone support service is available Monday to Friday, with a 24hour answer machine referral service for out of hours service.
One-To-One counselling is available by appointment and free of charge. Counselling is provided by our qualified psychotherapists and professional counsellors.
Personal development Classes in areas such as relaxation, art therapy, mindfullness, yoga, Moving Beyond Cancer & more.
A comprehensive library of books, dvd’s and pamphlets on issues related to cancer and up-to-date information is provided on cancer diagnoses, treatment, welfare entitlements etc.
Support services for children and teenagers who are dealing with Cancer or who have a family member or friend affected by Cancer.
CLIMB Children’s Programme for children aged 5-12 who are experiencing the impact of a parents cancer diagnosis.
Benefits & Entitlements Clinics every Wednesday & Friday from 10am-11am. Appointment Necessary.
A transport service by trained staff and volunteers is available to and from hospitals, hospices, clinics or Purple House.
Complimentary Therapies including massage & reflexology provided by our trained therapists.
